Terrence Gerald Nechodom

76 of Freedom, passed away peacefully following a courageous battle with cancer. Terry was born to Gerald J. and Elsie 'Sandy' (Santkuyl) Nechodom on July 8, 1947, in Appleton. On Oct. 25, 1969, Terry married Mary Kay Springstroh at St. Nicolas Catholic Church in Freedom.

He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force defending his country and later pursued a career as a machinist at Allis-Chalmers and Voith. Terry was a great husband, father, and grandfather. He had a passion for horses and raised several throughout his life and competed in numerous horse shows. Terry enjoyed watching the Milwaukee Bucks and Green Bay Packers, and their road trips in his Ford Mustang with Mary Kay. He loved watching old western movies, telling stories, going to the races, watching his grandchildren and attending their sports events.

He will be greatly missed by his son, Joseph (Emily) Nechodom; three granddaughters: Addi, Addison and Kaylin; a sister Kathy (Mike) Wyland; a brother Tim Nechodom; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other relatives and family.

Terry was preceded in death by his wife Mary Kay Nechodom, and his parents.

The family would like to thank everyone at Cherry Meadows and the hospice team for their loving care.

Per Terry's wishes there will be no services and he will be laid next to his wife at Highland Memorial Park.
