of Appleton, born August 28,1959, passed away peacefully on January 8, 2023. He graduated from Menasha High School in 1977. Shane, always remembered as a kind soul by his family, is survived by son, Ted (Amanda) Krueger, daughter Cheryl Krueger, granddaughter Saida Krueger, parents Richard and Corrine Krueger, and sisters Beth Malott and Amy (Jesús) Krueger Zúñiga. He enjoyed volunteering and chatting endlessly with others at St. Joseph's Food Pantry every week. Shane had a great love for music and horticulture. He opened Appleton Imports on College Ave. in 1998 where he could share these passions and his knowledge with the community, enjoying endless conversations with visitors to the store. As a DJ for WLFM, Lawrence University radio, Shane's voice was a calming presence for his listeners in the 1990's. Shane was a legendary foosball player, inducted into the Wisconsin Foosball Hall of Fame on February 6, 1999, for a lifetime of dedication and promotion of the sport.

Visitation will be at St. Edwards Parish, N2926 State Hwy 47, in Mackville, WI, Friday, January 13 from 1-3 pm with a prayer service to follow for family and friends who will miss his infectious smile, laughter, and endless stories. Additionally, there will be a Celebration of Life Foosball Tournament in Shane's honor; details will be posted on Fox Valley Fooz Facebook Page. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Joseph's Pantry in Menasha.
