Sandy L. Kurth, age 65, of New London, passed away on Wednesday, June 29, 2022, at his home. He was born to the late Leroy and Lynn (Gunderson) Kurth on January 12, 1957, in Maryland. On January 15, 1983, Sandy married the love of his life, Amy Williams. Together they had three children. Sandy had a true passion for music which was shown through the love of the guitar and the music he created. He also enjoyed The Beatles, especially John Lennon. Sandy loved animals, including the pets he had throughout life. He loved the beach and ocean. Most of all, he especially enjoyed spending time with his family.

Sandy is survived by his wife of 39 years, Amy; his children: Brian (Kristen) Kurth, Shaun (Pam) Kurth, and Lauren (Nick Conard) Kurth; grandchildren: Dylan, Chloe and Coraliese Kurth; siblings: Kris (Randy) Howard, Lisa (Richard) Botteri and Dan (Jennifer Lally) Lee; mother-in-law Aileen Tyson; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; his father Ernest Lee; both maternal and paternal grandparents; father-in-law Paul Williams; and best friend Kevin.

A memorial visitation for Sandy will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Friday, July 8, 2022 at BRETTSCHNEIDER TRETTIN NICKEL FUNERAL CHAPEL, 606 N Oneida Street, Appleton with a prayer to end the afternoon. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Sandy's name.
