Obituary

Sandra passed away peacefully on May 11, 2026. She was born June 16, 1937, in Appleton, the only daughter of the late Herbert Lutz and Eunice Zuehlke. She will be remembered for her warm and radiant smile, and her kind and generous heart. She worked at Our Saviors church for 20 years and was a member of the Steven Ministry Group at Faith Lutheran Church. She enjoyed volunteering for many years at AMC hospital, Randall Court, and Meals on Wheels. Engaging and caring for others was something she loved to do.

Sandy married Bill on August 22, 1981 and they shared 44 wonderful years together. Sandy and Bill enjoyed traveling, often taking trips to Florida. They loved working together in the yard, listening to music, and watching movies. However, their favorite moments were spent by the lake, sitting by a cozy fire, and taking long walks with their beloved pets. Sandy had a huge heart for animals, adopting many cats and dogs throughout her life. She loved birds, especially cardinals. Her yard was decorated with multiple bird feeders, which they both enjoyed watching.

Sandra is survived by her loving husband, Bill; two daughters: Beckie & Amy; two stepdaughters: Kim & Holly; ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son Jon, her cousin John and her cousin Jean whom she thought of as her sister.

We would like to extend a very special thank you to everyone at Aspire Senior Living and Bristol Hospice for their compassionate care of our mom. Words cannot express our gratitude for your kindness, patience, and warmth. You helped to make her journey home more comfortable and peaceful, and above all, you always made her smile.
