Sandra Jeanne
Forster
Sep 25, 1971 — Apr 28, 2025
Appleton
Another Angel has been called home, Sandra Forster (Kerkhof) age 53 passed away peacefully with family by her side on April 28, 2025. After spending the majority of her early life in the Appleton area, Sandee moved to Freedom, Wisconsin in 1990 where she met her true love and soulmate, Chris Forster. It was obvious early on that these two had something incredibly special together and that it was going to be a relationship that was built for longevity.
After being blessed early on in their relationship with a beautiful baby girl, Tagen. Sandee focused on how she was going to be able to stay with Tagen as she got older. After she went back to school and got certified for early childhood care, she opened her own daycare two blocks away from Tagens school. Sandee loved the ability to be able to spend before, and after school with her daughter while also being able to help other family members with their young children at the same time. Sandee had such a special spot in her heart for children; she loved watching the transition from newborn to toddlers and all of the first things that happened in between. After marrying her best friend in 1998 and being blessed with a son, Dawsen, she decided to close the daycare after he went to school and finally pursue her real dream and passion for interior design.
She realized after going back to school and taking classes that this was her calling in life. Sandee had the ability to take one person's trash and turn it into something high quality with nothing but her creativity and vision. Regardless of whether the project was high dollar or low budget, she always found a way to personalize each individual's project. Chris and Sandee were the ultimate dream team with her style and his handiness there wasn't much they couldn't create.
In her off-time Sandee loved to work and design things in her own home. She took so much pride in being able to have her own home and have it the way that she always wanted her things. She loved having the house clean and organized. Sandee loved her home and had a way of keeping it. Pee on the seat and junk drawers were not a thing of her household.
Sandee enjoyed doing a lot of things away from work, but almost all of them had to do with water and the sun. If it was sitting in a boat in the middle of the lake, or sitting on the side of the river, or just at home on the deck with her feet in the baby pool, Sandee absolutely loved sitting in the sun and if she was on, in, or by the water that made it all the better. Going to Packer games, she loved musical concerts from country and Rock USA, to individual favorite bands, Going to mile of music, Thursday night races, Saturday farmers market, Sunday flea markets, finding the best clearance spots, helping her kids find marketplace finds, she loved doing so many different things, but what really mattered is that we did them together.
Sandee had such a big heart, and cared for so many people, but the one thing that mattered more than anything was the health and the safekeeping of her kids. Sandee had such a unique way of understanding what the kids were going through, and how to get them what they needed. She had a special sweetness with her words that always soothed things over and created a bond and trust that is unbreakable. Her kids were her world and were still her biggest concern in life until the end; there is nothing stronger than a mother's love!
Sandee's health has had many ups and downs for the past 6 years but the one thing that remained consistent was that she was always a force to be reckoned with. It didn't matter how many odds were stacked against her or how tired she might have been, she fought harder than anyone. It didn't matter how many hospital visits or needles poked her that day, she always had a smile, a word of kindness and a little joke for anyone that needed it.
Sandee will be greatly missed by her husband, Chris Forster of Appleton; her beautiful daughter Tagen Forster of Appleton and her handsome son Dawsen Forster of Appleton; older twin brothers: Bart Bohlen of Arizona and Bret Bohlen of Appleton and brother, David Bohlen of Hortonville, sisters: Kelle Kons of Appleton, twin sister Sarah Kamp of Appleton and Jennifer Schommer of CA; many nieces and nephews but two very special nephews that were more like her second children: Bradey Belling and Connor Belling both of Appleton.
Sandee was preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Gartzke of Appleton and her father Tony Kerkhof of CA and sister Lisa Bohlen of Bloomer.
Her family would like to give special thanks to Amy Van Asten and Betsey Schaff for always being extraordinary friends with the biggest hearts; she loved you like sisters.
To my love: you might not be here with me physically, but I know you're here. Thank you for the beautiful years you blessed me with. I am the man I am because of you. I see you in our kids and it makes me so happy to know they are you! I hope the sun is warm and you find your mom.
See you at the spot! Until I see you again; I LOVE YOU!
