With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Sandra Lee Bork, age 76, of Appleton, WI, Monday, June 24, 2024. She entered this world September 19, 1947, in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, the daughter of John and Darlene (Hatch) Jackson. She married David Bork on November 11, 1972.

Her deep reverence for nature was evident in her love for animals, every garden she tended, and every moment she spent outdoors. Sandra found peace and solace in the beauty of the natural world, and her appreciation for its wonders inspired those around her to pause and marvel at the simple yet profound gifts of our planet.

She graduated from Oshkosh High School in Oshkosh, Wisconsin and went on to Marquette University. Sandra was a cherished mother, beloved grandmother, new great grandmother, and a pillar of strength in our family. She departed peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, adventure, and profound kindness that touched countless lives.

She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant daughter, Lynda Bork; her sister Joni Jackson, and aunts and uncles.

Sandra is survived by her husband David Bork and three sisters: Debra Drexler and husband Jeff of Hollister, Missouri, Bonnie Johnson of Menasha, Wisconsin, Becky Jackson of Appleton, Wisconsin; Sons: Chad and his wife Christine, Brad, and Jason; Grandchildren: Reese, Lucian, Sklyer, Alex, Kali, Natilie, Silus, Dylan, Jackson, Carter; Great Grandchild: Bristol as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. And also, her lifelong friend Ann Miller (Priscilla Ann Mosling).

A Funeral service for Sandy will be held Saturday, June 29, 2024 at 11 AM at Brettschneider Trettin-Nickel Funeral Chapel with Rev Ben Morris officiating. Friends may visit the family from 9 - 11 AM on Saturday. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park, Appleton.

The family would like to thank the team at Brewster Village for the care and compassion offered to Sandra and her family during their time of need.

In honoring Sandra's memory, let us remember to embrace life fully, as she did, and to spread kindness wherever we go. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of her family and friends, forever cherished and deeply missed.
