Ronald Larry Butler, age 76, of Appleton, passed away peacefully at his home on April 14, 2024.  Ronald was born in Orange, CA on March 5, 1948, to the late Bernard Butler and Mabel McCuan.

On June 16, 1968, he was united in marriage to his high school sweetheart Kathleen Tewell.  The couple have enjoyed over 55 years together.  Ronald loved reading, watching movies and football games, taking long car rides exploring with his wife, and spending time with his daughter, son-in-law, and grandchildren.

He will be deeply missed by his wife Kathleen, his only child Jennifer (Jason) Wurz, and his grandchildren Hailey Wurz and Nicholas Wurz.  He is further survived by two sisters-in-law, Carol Linton and Cheryl Tewell, nieces and nephews, Robert (Tabetha) Linton, Douglas (Lisa) Linton, Melissa Tewell, Stacy (Cain) Tewell, and Samuel (Jenny) Tewell, and their families.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Sharon Butler, and brother-in-law Marshall Tewell.

In lieu of a formal service, a celebration of Ron's life will be held at a later date.
