Philip L. Grishaber, 78, of Menasha, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, after a brief illness. He was born on April 16, 1947, in Appleton, son of Arnold and Margaret (Micholic) Grishaber. Born and raised in Appleton, Phil attended Xavier High School and Fox Valley Technical College, and lived and worked in the Fox Valley throughout his life. He was employed for 40 years at We Energies in accounting, surveying, and as a customer service technician where he looked forward to being out interacting with customers. He loved baseball, both in playing and as a fan; he derived satisfaction from zealously caring for his landscaped yard and from growing tomatoes.

On Sept 11, 1969, 56 years ago, Phil married Linda Knorr, of Menasha. Their first date was five years before that. Phil loved his wife for 61 years, but he loved the New York Yankees for 68. Phil's sisters express they will miss their big brother's smile, laughter, and especially his teasing.

Phil is survived by his wife Linda, two sisters: Susan Ott and Kim (Robert) Schulz; brother-in-law Tom Grishaber; sisters-in-law: Donna Knorr, Margaret Knorr, Karen Knorr, Beth (Paul) Blohm, and Ginger Knorr. Phil is further survived by many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Phil was preceded in death by his parents, and in-laws: Larry Ott, Dick (Marilyn) Knorr, Ted Knorr, Corinne Grishaber, Mary (Bill) Geenen, Fred Knorr, H Sam Knorr, and Roger Knorr.

A simple memorial will be held at Fox Valley Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, 2600 E. Philip Lane, Appleton on Saturday, Sept. 27th with visitation at 12:30 pm and service at 2 pm.
