On April 27, 2024 Patricia A. (Patsy) Worden joined her beloved husband Richard (Dick) in heaven. One of seventeen children, Patsy was born to Elmer and Ellen (Kimball) Luedtke, Sr. on March 17, 1931 in Appleton. Pat and Dick united in marriage on June 11, 1955 and remained devoted to each other for 66 years.

Patsy's employment at Aid Association for Lutherans added to her vast array of friends, as did her membership in the Appleton Ladies Elks. Pat drew people to her with her sense of humor, easy laugh, and innate kindness. She was always a hit at family picnics and gatherings and enjoyed keeping in touch with her many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Through the years, Patsy and Dick traveled the country. Both loved nature; plants and animals gave them such joy. Wintering in Arizona, they reconnected with friends from Appleton and Green Bay. Their travels even took them to Alaska, where Dick had spent most of his youth.

Surviving Pat are one sister, Lola Vanden Wyngaard, as well as two brothers, Carlton and Elmer (Karen) Luedtke, Jr., and sisters-in-law Joyce Osborne, Patricia Worden, and Pat (Bill) Smudde. Preceding Patsy in death are her husband, Dick, eight sisters, Elizabeth Sackett, Martha Popa-Kuhn, Geane Litcher, Carrie Mannagan, Mary Brouillard, Sandra Wentworth, June Lokken, and Helen Prey, and five brothers, Francis, Robert, Victor, Jack, and Donald.

The funeral service will take place at Brettschneider-Trettin-Nickel Funeral Chapel, 606 N Oneida Street, Appleton, at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 3, 2024. Family and friends may share their memories of Pat from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Pat will be entombed at Highland Memorial Park following the service.
