Pamela Ann
Acker
Nov 18, 1959 — Apr 14, 2026
Kaukauna
Pamela Ann Acker, age 66, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on November 18, 1959, in Marshfield, Wisconsin, to the late Isadore and Violet (Keene) Beyel.
Pamela had a deep love of learning and devoted much of her life to education, earning three bachelor's degrees and one master's degree. She married Chip Acker on February 29, 2008, in Marshfield, Wisconsin. Pamela worked as the Chief Financial Officer for Corey Fleisner's Northwestern Mutual regional office in Appleton, Wisconsin.
Pamela lived a life defined by curiosity, generosity, and a deep love for those around her. A lifelong learner and passionate teacher, she found joy in discovering new ideas and sharing them with others. She had a special affection for her beloved dogs—Bodie, Lucy, and Daisy—who brought her endless companionship and happiness. Pamela enjoyed the simple pleasures of golfing, reading, writing, and exploring the world, proudly traveling to every state except Texas and New Mexico. She held a fondness for horses and the peace they brought her, but above all, she treasured time spent with her family, who were the center of her world. Her warmth, wisdom, and unwavering love will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Pamela is survived by her husband of 18 years, Chip Acker; her son, Justin (Becca Glisczinski); her brother, Paul Beyel; her stepdaughter, Kiersten Acker; her grandchildren, Edison and Myles Smith, and their mother, Kayla Smith; her nieces/daughters, Tammy (Joe) Herrera, Kathy (Bryan) Wegner, and Jackie (Toby) Scheuermann; her nieces, Diane Yoder, Katrina Augustine, Amanda (Michael) Ammons, Lori Beyel, and Marietta Beyel; and her nephews, Joseph Roling and Gerodde Davis. Seventeen great-nieces and nephews also survive her—Zachery, Alexander, Kaitlynn, Devan, Sebastian, Chelsea, Brittany, Kasey, Aleisha, Eleanor, Charlotte, Jadrien, Ocean, Eribelle, Daxton, Kameron, and Keisha—and five great-great-nieces and nephews—Jaxson, Madden, Boone, Harry, and Scottie—along with her four-legged companions, Bodie, Lucy, and Daisy.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Isadore and Violet Beyel; her brother, Marvin Beyel; her nephew, Steven Beyel; and her stepson, Nickolas Acker.
A memorial service for Pamela will be held at 11:00 a.m. on April 24, 2026, at Saint Mary Catholic Church, 312 S. State Street, Appleton. Visitation will take place from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
A special thank you to ThedaCare Hospice, especially Tina and Erika. A heartfelt and lasting thank you also goes to her nieces, Kathy Jo and Tammy, who selflessly left their homes to move in and care for their beloved Aunt Pam—whom they considered a mother—so she could live her final months surrounded by love and family.
John 15:13: "Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends."
