Michael Jon Malaney passed away October 12, 2024, after courageously living life with Parkinson's for last 15 years. He was born in Minneapolis, October 15, 1949, where he spent his early years before moving to Oshkosh.
He continued his education at UW Oshkosh and then UW Madison. He was proud of his educational achievement with degrees in Chemistry and Pharmacy before working in pharmacy. While in college, he met his wife Stephanie whom he married on May 29, 1971. He spent 53 years with his loving wife living in Appleton where they raised their family.
His greatest joy was spending time with family and traveling with them. They loved playing cards together while on vacation. He also was an amazing coach for his children in baseball and basketball.
Mike was truly passionate about traveling, golfing, bowling and playing cards. But his true love was always his family.
He is survived by his wife, Stephanie. His children Amanda Malaney (Kevin Hunt), Ryan Malaney (Jazzbi) and Kyle Malaney (Nadia Riese). He is further survived by his sister Mary Malaney (Mike Spoerl) and Shawn Malaney (Cindy) and his niece Molly Rose Malaney (Quade).
