Michael 'Whitey' Rogers, Age 73, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes on March 1, 2021. He was an Appleton HS – West graduate and a lifelong Appleton resident.

Mike is survived by his siblings, Tim (Ann) Rogers – Gresham, Sue Lamers – Appleton, Carol Knoll – Appleton and Chris (Dennis) Koci – Appleton, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death are his mother and stepfather, Doris (nee-Fischer) and Harold Knoll, maternal grandparents, Elizabeth and Charles Fischer and paternal step-grandparents, Martha and Albert Knoll.

Mike is further survived by his second family, The Pierri's, as Whitey's legacy is the 46 years he spent making thousands of community connections and tossing pizza dough at the 'Pizza Palace'. If you ever ate at or ordered from the 'Palace', Whitey likely had some part in that pie. The wonderful memories people have been sharing since his death have been funny and touching but, most of all, comforting to all of the family. Everyone has a 'Whitey' story it seems and we hope that you keep sharing them. We are eternally grateful to the Pierri family for making Mike one of their own.

A cremation has taken place and there will be no public service at this time.
