Michael "Mox" or "Mike" Jameson, age 73, of New London, Wisconsin, passed away on June 25, 2026, following a short battle with cancer. Mike was born on October 2, 1952, in Crandon, Wisconsin, to the late Gary and Denver (Chaney) Jameson. When he was younger, Mike enjoyed hunting and fishing with family and friends. For many summers, he made the annual trip to camp at the Hodag Country Music Festival in Rhinelander, a tradition he looked forward to every year. He was also a devoted fan of the Packers, Badgers, and Brewers.

He is survived by his son, Mathew (Kelly) Trindal of Iron Mountain, MI; granddaughter, Signe; aunts: Cora (Dave) Campbell of the Town of Nashville and Mary Ann Jameson of Argonne; brother, Tony Jameson of New London; brother-in-law Walter Powell of Crandon; nieces: Brittany (Ani) Jameson and Stacy (Robert) Vladick; nephews: Josh Jameson and Adrian (Linda) Wagoner; Brandy Smith, who was like family to him; and many close cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Debra Gee and Kathy Powell.

Immediate services will not be held. A family gathering will be scheduled at a later date.
