Michael Charles Gostas, age 79, of Appleton, passed away peacefully, with his children by his side, on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Appleton. Mike was born in Fond du Lac on August 29th, 1942 to the late Michael and Florence (Southerlun) Gostas. Following high school, Mike proudly served his country in the U. S. Army Signal Corp. He enjoyed aviation, building model airplanes, reading the newspaper, and CB radios.

He is survived by his daughter, Pamela Michalski, Grand Chute; son Chadd (Jacquelyn) Gostas, Appleton; 3 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; two brothers: Niko and Tony Gostas; a sister, Elaine Kraft; and sister-in-law, Dianne Gostas.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Florence, 2 brothers: Nick, and Dennis Gostas, and 3 sisters: Dete Gostas, Dolly Tucker and Penny Blatseas.

A private graveside service will take place at Riverside Cemetery, Appleton.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Karsen and Lauren for their compassionate care given to Mike.
