Michael D. Feeney, lovingly known as Mike, passed away peacefully on November 26, 2024, at the age of 66. Born on October 24, 1958, in Chicago, Illinois to the late Grace Grassmeyer Feeney and Clement Feeney. Mike was a devoted husband, father, brother, and friend whose warmth and generosity left an indelible mark on everyone who knew him.
Mike is survived by his beloved wife, Sasitorn, his cherished son, Jason, and his loyal dog, Payton. He also leaves behind his brothers Gary, David, and Rich. He is preceded in death by his sister, Linda.
Mike grew up in Chicago, where he developed a lifelong love for the Chicago Bears, spending countless Sundays cheering for his favorite team. His passion for photography captured the beauty of everyday moments, and his interest in astronomy inspired many evenings under the stars. Mike's enthusiasm for the cosmos was contagious, and he shared this love with his son, teaching him to see the universe with wonder. One of his most memorable experiences was witnessing the total solar eclipse in 2024—a moment he treasured deeply.
