Michael "Mike"
A. Pompa
Sep 28, 1974 — Aug 17, 2026
Appleton
Michael Allen Pompa, born September 28, 1974, in Montello, Wisconsin, passed into the arms of his Lord, leaving behind a legacy of faith, service, hard work, and unwavering/fierce love for his family. Mike Passed from fighting every day, the cancer that took him from us. Mike did not lose that fight , Mike gained HEAVEN. His fights shows everyone the amount of love he held for his family.
Mike was born to Karen (Krause) Pompa and Allen M. Pompa. He found the love of his life and soulmate, Amanda Lindley, and the two were married in 2000. Together they built a beautiful life over 26 years of marriage and were blessed with three children who were the pride and joy of his life: Emily Rae Pompa Doletzky (Titus), Jessy Ann-Marie Pompa, and Jacob (Jake) Michael Walter Pompa (Catelyn Yeager).
Mike dedicated much of his life to serving others. He proudly served in the Civil Air Patrol ( a division of the Air Force) and as a firefighter and EMT for the City of Princeton, the Town of Marquette, and the Town of Harrison. Whether responding to emergencies or helping a neighbor in need, Mike gave selflessly and with compassion.
Professionally, Mike spent his entire career in the concrete industry. From driving concrete trucks to dispatching and eventually working in sales, he built lasting friendships with contractors, coworkers, and customers who respected both his work ethic and his character. He genuinely enjoyed the people he worked alongside and the relationships he built throughout the years. Thank you goes out to MCC for all the love and support you have given Mike.
Outside of work, Mike found his greatest joy in the outdoors. He was an avid hunter who cherished every opportunity to be in the woods with his Dad, his daughter, Jessy, and his lifelong best friends, Steve Seitzer and Rob Berg. Those memories will remain treasured by all who shared them with him.
Mike spent many of his years as a drummer and singer for bands such as Reaction, The 99 country band, and County Line along side him always was his brother from another mother, Scott Hill. Mike also coached Football for his son Jake from Princeton pee-wee to his 8th grade year in Kimberly Bulldogs. Mike truly treasured being a football coach and all the friends he made along the way. He is so proud of all the young men he coached and continued to always cheer them on.
Above all else, Mike was a good and faithful servant of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. His faith guided the way he lived, loved, and served others. He was his children's biggest fan, always cheering them on, celebrating their accomplishments, and standing beside them through every season of life. His greatest pride was his family. His greatest and proudest accomplishment on this earth was his children and soon to be Grandson.
Mike is lovingly survived by his devoted wife of 26 years, Amanda Pompa; his daughter, Emily Rae Doletzky (Titus Doletzky); his daughter, Jessy Ann-Marie Pompa( Kayden Konshak) ; his son, Jacob (Jake) Michael Pompa (Catelyn Yeager) He leaves behind a grandson , Judah, who was soon to enter this world and whom he already loved beyond words. His Parents, Karen and Allen M. Pompa; his sister, Shelley Cox (Dave Cox); his Mother and Father in law Wayne and Nancy Lindley as well as many extended family members, dear friends, and countless lives he touched through his work and service.
He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents and by his uncles, Willie, Tommy, and Dick Pompa. We find comfort in believing they were waiting at Heaven's gate to welcome him home with a Pabst or Old Style.
