Matthew John
Pelletier
Sep 6, 1984 — Nov 24, 2021
Matthew John Pelletier, "Matt", age 37, died unexpectedly at his home in Appleton, Wisconsin on November 23, 2021. Born on September 6, 1984 in Caribou, ME – Matthew was a Senior Editor at Image Studios in Appleton. He was a graduate from Presque Isle High School's Class of 2003. Following high school, Matt spent a year working with a Global Expeditions ministry based in Texas. During his travels Matt cultivated a passion for photography as he documented mission trips from behind a camera. His creative endeavors lead him to the Massachusetts College of Art in Boston, MA where he studied photography, and the New England School of Communications in Bangor, ME where he
specialized in videography.
Upon completion of his secondary education, Matt lived and worked in Maine until an opportunity to work for Image Studios was presented to him. In 2014 he moved to Wisconsin and became an editor for the company based in Appleton. Matt was described by his colleagues as a true talent and contributed to the company's success during his time there. He was very proud to be part of the Image Studios team and had so much more to showcase and give. His colleagues loved him dearly and they will miss him tremendously.
He enjoyed the opportunity to be involved wherever he could lend his abilities and talents. He lovingly gave his time and contributed to the creative arts team at Pathways Church in Appleton. His interests went in many directions and he is described as quiet and thoughtful, artistic and resourceful, unique and funny. A proud homeowner, he was constantly working to make improvements. Matt was a creator and filled his home with art, photography, and music. If he wasn't at home renovating or crafting by one of his many self-taught skills, you could find him retreating to nature for camping and hiking adventures. He also loved to cook, those who knew him best had the chance to enjoy his specialty, stuffed
mushrooms. Matthew was a good friend and made an impact on everyone he met. He was a supportive brother and son and took time to be present for those he loved and cherished most. A man of few words, he offered them always seemingly at the right time as evidence of the deep thinker he was.
He is survived by his loving father and mother Bruce and Jacqueline Pelletier of Presque Isle, Maine. His sister Nicole Saucier, husband Ryan and their two children Parker and Lucy of Scarborough, Maine. Brother Marcus Pelletier and wife Amy Vogt of Buxton, Maine. Sister Monique Pelletier of Windham, Maine and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and colleagues. They will miss him and remember him with love in their hearts.
