Mary Ann Wynen

63, Appleton, passed away peacefully with her loving family at her side on Thursday, June 27, 2024, at Cherry Meadows following a courageous battle with cancer. Mary was born on December 11, 1960, in Appleton to Joseph and Sandra (Steffen) Wynen. She graduated from Appleton East High School in 1979. Mary worked at Woodman's for 29 years until her retirement this spring. She was a dedicated employee and loved her Woodman's family. Mary had a love for animals, especially dogs, and loved gardening and family get-togethers.

She will be greatly missed by her mother, Sandra Wynen of Appleton; brothers: Daniel (Catherine) Wynen of Reno, NV, Anthony (Nancy) Wynen of Menasha, WI, Christopher (Tammy) Wynen of Crivitz, WI and William (Kaye) Wynen of Granton, WI. She is further survived by seven nieces and nephews: Luke, Kenneth, Christina, Phillip, Kayla, Charlotte and Barrett as well as numerous great nieces and nephews.

Mary was preceded in death by her father, Joseph and an infant brother, Michael.

A Celebration of Mary's life will take place at 11 AM, on Friday July 12, 2024, at Brettschneider Trettin-Nickel Funeral Chapel. Friends may visit the family from 9 – 11 AM on Friday.

Mary's family would like to thank their neighbors and friends for their care and concern over the last few years. Additionally thank you to the staff at Cherry Meadows and ThedaCare Cancer Center for their support and kindness.
