Mark Gerard Duehning, age 68, of Waupaca, passed away on Friday, June 2, 2023, at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Appleton.  He was born on April 20, 1955, in Milwaukee.  Mark married the love of his life, Barbara Merrill on August 9th, 1986. Mark was a jack of all trades. He loved working on cars and all things mechanical, making him the ultimate handyman. In high school, Mark finished as one of the cross-country top runners in several competitions. In college, he took courses in upholstery, vehicle bodywork, and machine shop. He also enjoyed fishing and gardening. But, most of all, he cherished the time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Mark is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Barb; his two daughters Kayla (Matt) Longley and Krystal (John) Hartman; grandchildren Ember, Ellie and baby on the way; his mother Eleanor Manikowski; his sister Kay Preston; and many other relatives and friends.  He is preceded in death by his father Ray Manikowski; his maternal grandparents Joseph "Opa" and Catherine "Oma" Trick; and brother-in-law Dean Preston.

A memorial service for Mark will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, June 9, 2023, at BRETTSCHNEIDER TRETTIN NICKEL FUNERAL CHAPEL, 606 N Oneida Street, Appleton.  Friends may visit from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service.
