Mark Behr was born on March 2, 1948. He was adopted from a Milwaukee orphanage around the age of one year-old by Arthur and Esther Behr of Appleton Wisconsin. He was welcomed at home by his older brother, Peter Behr and an adopted sister, Linda.

Mark is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his sister, Linda, his brother, Peter Behr, 2 nephews and 1 niece and 5 grandchildren who adored Mark and will miss him and his sense of humor.

Mark graduated from Appleton high school and attended UW Fox Valley. He loved cooking, went to culinary school and enjoyed his early job as a chef in Door County. He was a 32nd° Mason and very active in the Neenah Masonic Lodge. He often cooked meals for the Masonic gatherings and cooked voluntarily for community meals and fundraisers. Marc adored his dogs, the latest was Frankie who kept him company on cold winter days.

Private services will be held in Houston at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Masonic Lodge # 349, 241 E Wisconsin Ave. Neenah, WI 54956.
