Marilyn B. Quella, age 92, of Appleton, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 23, 2021, at Manawa Community Living Center. Marilyn was born in Neenah on September 16, 1928, to the late Lou and Elmira (Helgeson) Merrill. She graduated at Appleton High School with the class of 1946. In May of 1951, Marilyn was united in marriage to Raymond Quella. The couple enjoyed 64 years together until Ray's passing in March of 2015. In her younger days, Marilyn enjoyed bowling in leagues with Ray.

Marilyn is survived by her son, Bruce (Teresa) Quella, Larsen; grandson Ben (Jenny) Quella, Appleton; great grandson Jacob, Appleton; two sisters: Eunice Omit, Waupaca and Donna Mader, Lenexa, KS; and sister-in-law Margaret Kangas, Appleton.

She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond, 2 sisters: Virginia and Ethel, and 2 brothers: Robert and Will.

A private graveside service will take place at the Town on Clayton Cemetery.
