Marilyn Marie Crum (Hoppe), age 76, of Appleton, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, July 7, 2023. She was born to the late George and Harriet (Kaczkowski) Hoppe on April 25,1947, in Milwaukee. On September 19, 1970, Marilyn married Larry Crum in West Allis. She worked for many years as a bank teller until her retirement in 2013.

Marilyn loved bowling, cooking, and was an avid Packers fan. She was known to stir the pot for entertainment, but all for good fun. Most of all, Marilyn cherished spending time with her family, especially her grand kids.

Marilyn is survived by her husband of 52 years, Larry; her children Heather (Randall) Holland and Christopher (Christina) Crum; her grandchildren: Kyle Holland, Alex Holland, Connor Crum, Cailyn Crum and Cooper Crum; and many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her brothers: Robert (Patricia) Hoppe, George (Elizabeth) Hoppe, and James (Nora) Hoppe.

A Memorial Service for Marilyn will take place at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 13, 2023, at Brettschneider Trettin Nickel Funeral Chapel, 606 N Oneida Street Appleton. Friends may visit from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service.
