Obituary

Marge Kangas went to heaven to join some of her family and four legged friends on October 3rd, 2022, after nearly 90 years of life. Marge was born in Appleton to the late Joseph and Agnes Quella. On February 19, 1955, she was united in marriage to Andrew "Bud" Kangas. The couple enjoyed 60 years together until Bud passed away in 2015. Marge worked as a sales consultant at Barretts for many years. She loved cooking, baking, and had a taste for fashion – but most of all, Marge enjoyed spending time with her family, especially during the holidays. She was always there to support her children's sports and academics. Marge had a strong and sweet heart.

She is survived by her sons Joe (Karen) Kangas, Appleton and Andy (Shari) Kangas, Green Bay; daughter, Bobbi (Tom) Emmers, Nashville, TN; 7 grandchildren: Becky Brindle, Scott Emmers, Brett Emmers, Jack Kangas, Amy Kangas-Matthesen, Mary Kangas-Daharsh, and Mitch Kangas; 4 great grandchildren: Mason and Alexa Brindle, Andrew Emmers, and Adalyn Ann Matthesen. She is further survived by many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Bud Kangas, son Mike Kangas, grandchild Jake Kangas, brothers Tom, Rich, Ken, Bill, and Ray Quella, and sister, Joann Reitzner.

A celebration of Marge's life will take place at a future date.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of ThedaCare at Home Hospice and Siverstone Memory Care for the compassionate care given to Marge.
