Kenneth "Ken" Edward Brown, Sr., age 85, passed away on Friday, March 5, 2021. He was born to the late William and Anne (LeJeune) Brown on May 4, 1935 in La Crosse. Ken married the love of his life, Nancy Wheeler on December 12, 1959. He graduated from UW La Crosse with a degree in education and went on to teach Geography for many years at Roosevelt Junior High School. Ken proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He enjoyed woodworking, cheering on the Packers, learning about cars, exercising, and camping. He was a proud family man and cherished every moment spent with them.

Ken is survived by his wife of 61 years, Nancy; his children Terri Brown and Ken (Karen) Brown, Jr.; his grandchildren: Brett (Kami) Stumpf, Tyler (Kristen) Stumpf, Brandon (Virginia) Stumpf, Trevor (Joselyn) Stumpf, Brianna Stumpf, Kimberly Brown, Steven (Leticia) Brown, Mary Jo (Gregg) Seiltz, Bobby (Joe) Martzahl, and Nick (Jenny) Martzahl; great grandchildren: Nicole Stumpf, Phillip Stumpf, Jax Stumpf, Taylor Kohl, Owen Seiltz, Leo Brown, Andi Martzhal and Alex Martzahl; siblings: Rita (PJ) Hutson, Billy (Ellie) Brown and Jack (Mary) Brown; and other relatives and friends. Ken was preceded in death by his parents; parents-in-law Myron and Dorothy Wheeler; and brother Dick (LaVonne) Brown.

Per the family's wishes, a private funeral service will be held. Entombment will take place at Highland Memorial Park in Appleton.
