Kathleen M. Zabinske

80, Appleton passed away Sunday, May 25, 2025, after a brief illness. She was born on March 1, 1945, in Appleton to the late Thomas and Sybil (Crandall) Mullens. Kathleen graduated from Xavier High School in 1963. She worked at James River Paper Company and Johnson Controls as a graphics engineer before retiring. Kathleen loved animals, being up in the Northwoods, skiing and gardening.

She will be greatly missed by her two sons: Matthew (Julie) Kallas and Tad (Brenda) Kallas; grandkids: Cody (Kyra) Kallas, Ashley Chick, Whittney (Jered) Laue, Sean (Rachel) Kallas and Carl (Kalynn) Kallas; 16 great grandchildren; 2 sisters: Judith (Ed) Elsey and Debby (Dale) Krenz.

Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Bob Zabinske.

A private family service was held, and Kathleen was laid to rest at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery in Appleton.
