It is with the heaviest of hearts that we confirm our beloved Kathleen (Daily) Mytas passed away on the morning of July 23rd, 2025.

Kathy was born in Appleton, WI on May 24th, 1954, the daughter of Thomas and Mildred Daily and sister to six siblings whom she stayed close with her entire life. Family meant everything to Kathy and if she knew you, you were considered family to her. She had an exceptional way of making everyone around her feel loved, welcomed and included. She spent her life pouring onto others.

She was a nurturer by nature. A devoted wife, doting mother to her son and the sweetest grandmother to her grandson. She was the family compass and loved them strong for 43 years.

Kathy found beauty in the simple things expressed through her art in florals. Many of her days were spent in her garden and within the pages of her Bible where she was her happiest self. She was the best homemaker, cook and host, opening her home and table to so many.

Kathy served God by telling others of the eternal hope that can be found in a relationship with Jesus Christ. It is that hope that sustains the family now as they all rest in the knowledge that she is now home with her Heavenly Father.

Though Kathy is no longer with us physically, her spirit lives on in the lessons she taught us and the love that she shared. We will miss her bold guidance, her unwavering joy, her comic relief and most importantly, her lengthy phone calls.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, and her brother Gary. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Michael Mytas; her son Mike (Addie) and grandson Mikey. Siblings; a brother Tom Daily (Julie), sisters Sherry Joseph, Mary King, Peg Schmidt (Ray) & Polly Harper-Zarins (Erik). Sister-in-law, Sue Daily.

The memorial service celebrating her life will be held on Sunday, August 17th, at 12 p.m at Brettschneider Funeral Home - 606 N. Oneida St. Appleton, WI
