With heavy hearts we announce the passing or our dear Mother, Kathleen Francis Kohlman. Kathy passed away on December 9, 2021 at Theda Clark Hospital after a courageous battle against an illness she could not overcome.

Mom was born on April 8, 1944, in Chicago, IL to Margaret and Lewis McCarty. She is proceeded in death by her parents, her sister Dolly Meyer, her beloved son Shane Wardall and her husband Randy Kohlman. She is survived by her amazing sister Lois Nakashian and sons, Mark Cassai (Faye), Kevin Wardall, Bryan Wardall, Sean Wardall (Nancy) and Michael Wardall (Irene). Her Grandchildren Nick, Anthony, Vincent, Catrina, Christina, Lewis, Bryce, Stephanie, Abby, Sheena, Atley, Nathaniel, Taylor, Oliver, Erika, Kayla, Kyle, Brenton, Talon and Alex. Mom had 14 Great Grandchildren and loved all of them. She had nieces and nephews that meant the world to her, and I know they felt the same.

Mom loved music, laughter, her friends and her family. She was loyal to everyone, and she had a way of making you feel exactly what she felt for you. It was love. She loved everyone in her orbit and beyond. She was kind, fair and servant of God. She believed that in his grace she would go home and there, she'd be greeted by those who loved her starting with her little boy Shane.

A Funeral Service for Kathleen will take place at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at BRETTSCHNEIDER TRETTIN NICKEL FUNERAL CHAPEL, 606 N Oneida Street, Appleton. Friends may visit from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.
