Mrs. Joyce Brennan, 88, of Appleton passed away on March 6, 2024.  Joyce was born May 2, 1935, in Green Bay, Wisconsin.   She was the daughter of the late Leo and Matilda Loehlein.  Joyce was a 1953 graduate of East High School in Green Bay.

Joyce was united in marriage to Robert (Bob) Brennan on April 12, 1958, at St. Bernards Church in Green Bay.  He preceded her in death on December 4, 2004.  They shared 46 years together.  Joyce was an active volunteer in her community and in her church.

Survivors include sons: Steve Brennan, Scott Brennan, and Michael (Delma) Brennan; daughter Jennifer Thao; eleven grandchildren and five great grandchildren; brothers Mel (Alice) Loehlein and Jerry (Barb) Loehlein; sister Patty Loehlein; she will be missed by many special friends, nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Jim Loehlein.

A funeral service for Joyce will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 16, 2024, at SACRED HEART CATHOLIC CHURCH, 222 E Fremont Street, Appleton with Fr. John Katamba officiating.  Friends may visit from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.  Joyce will be laid to rest at Allouez Cemetery in De Pere.  In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Autism Society of the Fox Valley or the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
