Jose Guadalupe Vera Ortega passed away peacefully at St. Elizabeth Hospital on May 22, 2020. Jose was born in Canada de Caracheo Guanajuato Mexico on August 25, 1937 to Isabell and Alfredo Vera. When Jose was 17 years old she moved to California and worked on the fields. In 1959 he married the love of his life María Trinidad Vargas Vera and were married a beautiful 73 years. They had 11 children, and many more grandchildren and great grandchildren. José loved taking his grand kids on walks and to the park. Jose also loved visiting Mexico and spending time with his family, eating great food including his favorite bananas and Coke, also loved watching TV and action movies.
