Johnny E. Hurning, age 88, of Neenah, formerly of Cecil, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at American Grand in Neenah.

Johnny was born in Oconto County on February 4, 1937, to the late George and Marion (Bellow) Hurning.  He worked on farms most of his life and was an avid woodworker.  Johnny was also an outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is survived by 6 siblings: Delmer, Anna, Clara (Randy), Billy (Clara), Karen, and Betty; son Dean and daughter Nancy and their children.  He is further survived by many nieces and nephews, and many extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents George and Marion; and 4 siblings:  Jessie, Patsy (Claude), Bobby, Doris, and his special friend of many years Elsie.
