Jesus Ortega Bustamante passed away at ThedaClark Hospital in Neenah, WI after a short illness, on Sunday, July 19, 2026.

He was born in Mexico on October 12, 1971 to Isabel Bustamante-Moreno and Luciano Ortega. He worked at Woodman's Grocery Store in Appleton and did cleaning jobs.

He will be missed by his siblings: Maria Ortega Bedolla and her husband Adolfo Bedolla Almanza; Jose Ortega Bustamante and his wife Veronica Ortega Rosas; Antonio Ortega Bustamante and his wife Rebeca Rojas Zapatero; Laura Ortega Bustamante and her husband Juan Vargar; Juan Ortega Bustamante and Teresa Ortega Bustamante and her husband Elias Rincon Vera.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11 AM, on Thursday, July 23, 2026 at St. Therese Catholic Church with Rev Jon Thorsen officiating.

Friends may visit the family from 9 AM until 11 AM at church. He will be laid to rest at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Appleton, WI.
