Jesse Collin Klein, age 40, passed into the everlasting arms of God the morning of Saturday, December 3, 2022 of natural causes.  From a young age, he carried a heart for music and poetry which he shared through his acoustic talents and heartfelt lyrics and writings.  That same love spilled over through his culinary skills into others as a teacher and chef.  He had an adventuresome nature eager to be in and among the great outdoors.  He was a husband of deep adoration for his wife.  She was number one alongside their many pets.  His love extended to his parents and siblings for whom he was always ready to give of himself.  The same can equally be said for his many friends.  His intelligence was humbly administered to the benefit of those at his work in Appvion, first, as a research and development chemist and, more recently, as an associate quality engineer.  All in all, he was a man's man, a true friend and lover, who will never be forgotten and always be sorely missed.

He is survived by his wife of eleven years, Christina; their dogs - Emmett Brown, Fizzy, and Twinkles (Olive, passed); their cats - Morticia, Ichabod, and Magic; parents, Daniel and Janis Klein; mother- and father-in-law, Scott and Patricia Gooding; sister and brother-in-law, Kristie and Dale Nixon and their children - Lilly, Hannah, Cullen and Titus; brother, Kevin Klein; brother- and sister-in-law, Brian and Stephanie Gooding and their children - Emma and Carson.

A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 17, 2022, at Appleton Community Evangelical Free Church, 2490 W. Capital Dr. Appleton.  We want to celebrate who Jesse is, so we ask you to dress in your favorite plaid flannel, Packer attire or whatever reminds you of Jesse. Visitation will be at church Saturday from 9am – 10:45am, service at 11am, with lunch to follow.  In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
