Janelle Zoeller, age 58, of Appleton, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, June 20, 2026, surrounded by her loving husband and sisters, following a courageous battle with cancer.  She was born on February 14th, 1968, at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay to the late Jonas and Lucille (Lemens) Barbiaux.  Janelle was a devoted wife, step-mom, sister, aunt, and friend to so many.

Janelle graduated with the class of '86 from Luxemburg-Casco High School and the University of LaCrosse.  She retired as a senior analyst with Kimberly-Clark.  Janelle's faith was important to her, she was a member of St. Bernadette Parish in Appleton.

On August 20th, 2005, she was united in marriage to Jeffery Zoeller in Neenah.  The couple has enjoyed 20 plus years together.

Janelle will be remembered by many for her strength, intelligence, and witty sense of humor.  She brought so much kindness and joy to all who knew her.  She enjoyed traveling with Jeff, golf, planting flowers, and family gatherings.

Janelle is survived by her husband Jeff; stepson Caleb; her siblings:  LuAnne (John) Kaye, Bob (Janie) Barbiaux, Sue (Ken) Davister, Bill (Nancy) Barbiaux, Kathy (Pete) VanDeHey, and Debbie (Dennis) Mercier; father -in-law Leo Zoeller; brothers-in-law:  Arlin Karnopp, Joe (Mary) Zoeller, Brian Zoeller, and Scott (Sarah) Zoeller; and her special God-children Danielle Smith and Dylan Mercier.  She is further survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jonas and Lucille Barbiaux, her mother-in-law JoAnn Zoeller, and step-mother-in-law Diane Markgraf, her brother Joseph, her sister Mary Lou Karnopp, nieces Jennifer Kaye and Angela Peterson, several aunts and uncles, and a special cousin Jenifer Heim.

A funeral mass will take place at 11 am on Saturday, June 27th, at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 2331 E. Lourdes Dr. Appleton.  Friends may visit at the church on Saturday from 9 am until 10:45 am.  Interment will take place at Holy Angels Cemetery, Darboy.  In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
