Jaclyn "Jacci" C. Meier, age 69, of Wrightstown, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, March 4, 2024, after a courageous battle with kidney failure.    Jacci was born in Appleton on October 8, 1954, to the late Ralph "Gov" and Elizabeth (Schiltz) Clark.  She graduated with the class of 72 at Appleton West High School.  Following high school, Jacci attended Fox Valley Technical College then went on to receive her bachelor's degree.

Jacci was married to Darrell Dettman from 1985 to 1994.  She was then united in marriage to Paul Meier on June 14, 1996.  The couple enjoyed 23 years together until Paul's passing in 2019.

Jacci worked as a Registered Nurse and as a Workman's Compensation Nurse for many years, retiring in 2019.  She enjoyed hiking, baking, and golfing – but most of all, Jacci loved spending time with her family and many friends that she had gathered along the way.

She will be missed by her daughter, Breanna (Greg) Cychosz, Stevens Point; her son, Jeremiah Dettman, of Appleton; granddaughter, Quinnlyn; two brothers:  Jim "Torchy" (Marge) Clark, Green Bay and John (Judy) Clark, Darboy; 2 sisters:  Julie (Chris) Kilsdonk, Kaukauna and Jane (Joe) Coenen, Wrightstown; niece, Christina; and 5 nephews:  Jonathan, Jason, Kevin, James, and Josh.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Betty and her husband, Paul.

A memorial service will be held at 7 pm on Thursday, March 7, at the Brettschneider Trettin-Nickel Funeral Chapel.  Friends may call at the funeral chapel on Thursday from 4 pm until the time of service.  In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
