Irene M. Mignon, age 81, of Appleton, passed away peacefully with loved ones by her side on Monday, December 5, 2022, at Living Tree Estates in Greenville.  She was born on November 24, 1941, to the late Philipp and Anna (Gausmann) Liederbach in Sprendlingen, Germany.  Irene moved to America in 1962.  She worked for many years as a claim's specialist at Thrivent Lutheran Services.  She enjoyed music, reading, knitting and her flower garden.  Most of all, Irene cherished the time she spent with her family.

Irene is survived by her children:  David Mignon of Alaska and Janet (Randy) Rhoden of Hortonville; grandchildren: Crystal (Stevan) Sutton, Jennifer Blair, Damian Kudick, and Derek Kudick; her great grandchildren; her cousins from Germany: Hanne Aulich, Andrea Kunz, Marion, and Linde Krumb; and other relatives and friends.  She is preceded in death by her parents and cousin Lotte Schafer.

A Funeral Service for Irene will be held at 12:00 NOON on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at CALVARY CHAPEL, 2136 E Newberry Street, Appleton, with Pastor Dwight Douville officiating.  Friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.  Entombment will take place at Historical Riverside Cemetery in Appleton.
