Age 88 passed on January 1st, 2024. She was born on June 21st, 1935, to the late Martin and Esther (Schwandt) Schweitzer in Shawano County. She married La Vern Stickney on August 1st, 1953, in Embarrass, Wisconsin. They shared 50 years together. He preceded her in death on January 29th, 2004. Also, preceding her in death was a daughter Nancy and twin infant sons. She was a graduate of Clintonville High School and a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Appleton. She was a mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and homemaker.

Delores is survived by her four children, Joan (Tom) Kraus, Steve (Tamara) Stickney, Shari (Jeffrey) Smith, and Michael (Christina) Stickney of Appleton. There are eight grandchildren, Jeffrey (Vicky), Eric (Kristen), Derek (Jessica), Rachel (Austin), Brendan (Lynsey), Kailey (Lucas), Jonathon, and Amanda. She also had nine great grandchildren, Austin, Makenna, Issac, Zoe, Katelynn, Hannah, Rebecca, Jackson, Levi, and many other relatives.

A visitation will be held at Brettschneider Trettin- Nickel on January 5th at 9:30 am with a short service to follow at 10:30 am.
