Delores Marilyn
Fischer
Jun 1, 1944 — Feb 15, 2025
Greenville
'Dolly,' age 80, of Greenville, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 15, 2025, at her home. She was born in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan to the late Harvey J. and Dorothy M. (Waddington) Schuster. Dolly married Richard J. Fischer on June 23, 1962, and they were blessed with four children. While raising her family Dolly decided to continue her education and eventually got her degree in accounting and became a CPA. She spent almost 30 years with the Schenk Company as a CPA. Dolly was very committed to her faith; a longtime member of St. Mary's in Greenville and had a tireless work ethic; which was a wonderful example to her family.
She enjoyed her grandchildren and their activities, the Milwaukee Brewers and her dogs unconditionally. Dolly loved to go shopping, trips to Door County and Out East, attending shows at the PAC and making sure the Christmas Holidays were always special and spent with family. Her favorite trip was to Hawaii with her husband, Dick.
She will be greatly missed by her husband, Dick of almost 63 years; children: Cheryl (John) Trent, Michael Fischer, Patrick (Angela) Fischer and Farrah (friend, Dave) Haese; grandchildren: Jordan (friend, Cory) Trent, Jami Trent, Parker (friend, Emma) Fischer, Alaina Haese, Ella Haese and Andrew Fischer; a sister, Roberta 'Bobbie' (David) Ulman; brothers and sister-in-law: Jim (Nancy) Fischer, Leroy (Pat) Fischer and Judy (Jim) Dorn. She is further survived by other relatives and friends.
Dolly was preceded in death by her parents and father and mother-in-law: John and Bernice Fischer.
A Mass of Resurrection for Dolly will take place at 11 AM on Friday, February 21, 2025, at St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Greenville with Rev. Michael Worden officiating. Friends may visit directly at the church on Friday from 9 AM until the time of Mass. Interment will take place in Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund is being established.
