Debra Lee Ann Schloss

61, of Appleton, passed away unexpectedly, following a courageous battle with Leukemia on Saturday, Oct 19, 2024, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton. Debby was born on August 1, 1963, in Sheboygan to Frederick and Beverly (Gromoll) Stangel. She graduated from Sheboygan South High School in 1981. Debby and Dave married on June 15, 1985, at Holy Name Catholic Church in Sheboygan. They relocated to Appleton and Deb worked at J.J. Keller for 39 years as a Compliance Advisor.

She enjoyed reading, walks around their neighborhood, trips to Minocqua and Door County. She most cherished being with her husband, Dave and two children: Brittany and Nathan as well as being a grandmother to 3. She touched the lives of many with her kindness.

Debby was preceded in death by her father, Frederick; maternal grandparents: Meta and Vernon Gromoll; paternal grandparents: Michael and Helen Stangel and an aunt, Judy Kaiser.

She will be greatly missed by her husband, Dave; daughter, Brittany (Drew) Waters and their children: Graham, Corbin and Baylor; a son, Nathan Schloss; her mother, Beverly Stangel and a sister, DeeAnna (Glen) Jaschob.

A Celebration of Debby's life will take place on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at Noon at Brettschneider Trettin-Nickel Funeral Chapel with Deacon Gerry Schraufnagel officiating. Friends and family may visit from 10 AM until the time of service. She will be laid to rest at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Appleton.

The family would like to thank her Oncologist, Dr. Abbi, as well as the Ascension ER staff and 4th floor nurses for their care of Deb and her family.
