Obituary

Craig S. Carrow, age 72, of Black Creek, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Monday, September 27th, at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Appleton. Craig was born in Appleton on June 2nd, 1949, to the late Anthony (Tony) and Lillian (Sylvester) Carrow. On September 12th, 1970, he was united in marriage to Rebecca Barkholtz. Craig spent much of his life working in the concrete business. He loved to hunt, build all sorts of things, watch football, and spend time with his three grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife Becky, whom he has been with since 1965. His two daughters: Jamie and Jen Carrow; his granddaughters: Sayvon and Malea Shorter; and the little boy he wanted his entire life, Tien Carrow, all of whom he adored.

He is preceded in death by his parents, aunts, uncles, and many friends he has had over the years.

Craig left behind a family who cared for him deeply. Despite being tough and hard-headed, he was a very loving, sarcastic, joker. Craig changed us all for the better and none of us would be who we are without him. Craigs strength and his humor will live within us forever and he is now at peace. He is also survived by two brothers: Chip and Steve (Colleen) Carrow and sister-in-law Terri Thiele. He is further survived by many nieces and nephews and quite a few family friends that looked at him as a father figure.

A celebration of life will be held for Craig at a time yet to be determined.

May the road rise up to meet you, may the winds always be at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face, and the rains fall softly on your fields. Until we meet again, may God hold you in the hollow of his hand. And the wings of Destiny carry you aloft to dance with the stars. We love you dad.
