Cody James Edlebeck, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 1, 2026.  He was born in Appleton on June 22, 2006, and graduated from Appleton East High School in May 2024.  After graduation, Cody helped his dad, brother, and uncles build a cabin in Fence.  He was a hard worker and excelled in school; he would have done well with anything he pursued.  Cody loved his forever pets Bella and Dexter and leaves behind his beloved Dani.  Cody enjoyed hiking in the woods, going on walks with Dani, and visiting with his friends.  His pastimes included video games, reading and cooking.

Cody is survived by his parents, Andrew and Vicki (Metko) Edlebeck; brothers Jackson (special friend Taylor) Edlebeck and Spencer Edlebeck; and many other aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Don, Mary Ann, and Ann Edlebeck, maternal grandparents Al and Audrey Metko, and two uncles that died in infancy.

A memorial service for Cody will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 9, 2026, at SAINT BERNADETTE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2331 E Lourdes Drive, Appleton.  Friends may visit at the church from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.  In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
