Christena M. Faber, age 74, of Appleton, passed away peacefully at Shiloh Assisted Living in Appleton on Saturday, August 31, 2024.  She was born in Nova Scotia, Canada on October 7, 1949, to the late Robert and Christine (MacLellan) Lloyd.

Christena moved to Boston at a young age, and remained in the United States until the early 2000's.  Then, home was calling her and she returned to Inverness, Nova Scotia.  In the fall of 2020, she returned to the United States to spend time with her children and grandchildren.  During her working career, she spent time as a caretaker helping families in various homes. She was happiest when she was helping others.  She also enjoyed photography, especially night photos and she loved her cats.

She is survived by her daughter Erika (Chad Mostek), Appleton, and their children Ethan and Noah; 2 sons:  Kristian Faber, Oshkosh and Kirk Faber, Kimberly; and 2 sisters:  Catherine (Alphonse) Aucoin, Plymouth, Nova Scotia and Josephine (Kenneth) Doucet, Inverness, Nova Scotia.

She was preceded by her parents Robert and Christine, and 2 brothers, John A. Lloyd (Mary) and Robert Lloyd.
