Charlie W. McCullough, age 83, of Menasha, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 21st, 2025, at Cherry Meadows Hospice in Appleton.  Charlie was born on March 7, 1942, in Appleton to the late Clifford and Elizabeth (Garot) McCullough.

Following graduation with the class of 1960 at Menasha High School, Charlie went to work for the George Banta Company.  He started out as a printer, then became a press room supervisor, and retired as the plant superintendent at the Ahnaip Street plant in 2002.

On September 5th, 1964, he was united in marriage to Kathy Suess at St. Mary Catholic Church in Menasha.  The couple enjoyed over 60 years together.  Charlie enjoyed boating, golfing, and spending the winter months in Florida.

Charlie will be missed by his wife Kathy, Menasha; two daughters: Colleen (Greg) O'Brien, Darboy and Cami (Matt Ritter) VanderPas, Menasha; 5 grandchildren: Nick (Stephanie) VanderPas, McKenna (Josh) Hulwi, Ashlyn O'Brien, Emily VanderPas, and Alex VanderPas.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his father-in-law and mother-in-law Lawrence and Marcella Suess, and brother-in-law Jerry (Betty) Suess.

A prayer service for Charlie will take place at 2 pm on Friday, July 11th, at the Brettschneider Trettin-Nickel Funeral Chapel.  Following the prayer service, friends may continue to visit until 4 pm.  In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established for a local food pantry.
