Charles H.
Arnoldussen
Oct 18, 1944 — Oct 1, 2026
Appleton
Charles “Chuck” H. Arnoldussen, age 81, of Appleton, passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2026. He was born on October 18, 1944, to the late Ray and Pearl (Van De Hey) Arnoldussen in Appleton.
Chuck served his country in the Navy from 1962-1966 during the Vietnam Conflict. After returning home, he worked for a time at the old Elm Tree Bakery; then was employed by Fox River Paper Company, where he started in the finishing department, moving into the maintenance department, where he worked as a pipe fitter earning his journeyman’s card. After 41 years with Fox River Paper, he retired in 2007.
Chuck married Karen A. Timm on October 12, 1968. Together they had three daughters: Sara Arnoldussen, Tiffany Birrenkott, D.D.S. and Amanda Van Dyke. Family time and togetherness were important to him, especially because of his long working hours. He enjoyed camping, teaching water skiing to his girls, and time at the Berry Lake family cottage. Chuck was proud of his girls when they worked “summer help” at the mill, and later accomplishments in life.
Chuck is survived by his wife of 57 years, Karen; daughters: Sara (Julian) Arnoldussen of Kimberly, Tiffnay (fiancé Brad Jenks) Birrenkott, D.D.S. of Baraboo, and Amanda (Chad) Van Dyke of Appleton; grandchildren: Ethan and Emma Van Dyke, Collin and Cooper Birrenkott; future step grandchildren: Connor and Kylie Jenks; siblings: Charleen (Ron) Ehlers, Mary Arnoldussen, Dennis (Mary) Arnoldussen; sisters-in-law Sharon (Michael) Huebner and Colleen Malchow; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Donald and David; sister-in-law Tammy Arnoldussen, and parents-in-law Lester and Joyce Timm.
A Funeral Service for Chuck will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at Zion Lutheran Church, 912 N Oneida Street with Rev. Jason Poole-Xiong officiating. Friends may visit from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will take place at Highland Memorial Park on Monday, October 12, 2026, at 12 noon.
