Carol Kaufman, age 76, passed away on February 27, 2023 at Oakridge Gardens, Menasha.  She was born in Medina on October 22, 1946 to the late Gale and Arlene (Kirk) Kaufman.

She is survived by her children;  Teresa (Randy) Rucks, Michael Gunka, Michelle (Jeff) Gregor, Matthew (Sara) Keck, grandchildren; Taylor Rucks, Emma Rucks, Samuel Rucks, Brittany Gunka, Brianna Gunka, and Gunnar Keck.  Carol is furthered survived by her sisters; Pat Mehn, Shyla (Dennis) McClelland and Janet (Dave) Rickert as well as several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  She is preceded in death by her parents Gale and Arlene (Kirk) Kaufman , sister Donna (Gordy) Spaulding, and special friend Al Navak.

In lieu of a Wake, family and friends were called upon to share memories and moments together with Carol during her stay at Oakridge Gardens.  She was comforted by all the visits, phone calls and outpouring of love.  Carol will be laid to rest in a private graveside service at Dale Union Cemetery.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the nurses and staff at Oakridge Gardens, St. Elizabeth's hospital, and Missions Hospice for the care and compassion she has received.
