Byrdene M. Young, age 93, of Appleton, passed away on Monday, July 20, 2026, at Rennes Healthcare in Appleton.  She was born to the late Myron and Ethel (Simonis) Hanson on March 4, 1933, in Mercer.

Byrdene is survived by her children: Bonnie Young, Jeff (Betty) Young, Debbie Young, Dianna Young, Roxann (Shelley) Donner, and Scott Young; grandchildren: Amanda (Matthew) Weber, Whitney Young, Cassie Young, Kris (James), and Kevin; great grandchildren: Peyton Conant and Nora; brother Richard (Cheryl) Hanson; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  Byrdene is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Young; her parents; brother LeRoy Hanson; sisters: Betty Czerwinski and Patricia Voight.

Per the family's wishes, a private memorial service will be held at a later date.
