Brian Douglas Schmidtke, age 51, of Appleton, passed away unexpectedly on July 1, 2021. He was born to the late Elroy and Arlene (Wyman) Schmidtke on August 26, 1969, in Neenah.

Brian was an avid fisherman and enjoyed spending time outdoors. He also enjoyed playing pool, darts and cribbage with his sisters and spending time with his family.

Brian spent most of his days with his friend Don fixing cars, talking politics and playing cribbage. He also enjoyed watching sports with his friend Steve.

Brian was always willing to help those in need.

Brian is survived by his sisters: Karen (special friend Ron) Wyman, Debbie Schmidtke, and Mary St. Clair; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He is preceded in death by both of his parents; sister Cindy Schmidtke; and nephew Duke Robinson.

A celebration of Brian's life will be held on August 1, 2021 from 1pm to 3 pm at Lucky Dogz 157 S Green Bay Road, Neenah, WI.
