Beverly Jean (Procknow) Bartel of New London was taken by the Lord on March 28, 2026, at the age of 78.  Beverly was born in Neenah on Christmas Day in 1947, to the late Harry and Marcella (Taggart) Procknow Jr.

Following graduation at New London High School with the class of 1965, Beverly attended the Manpower Business Training Institute in Milwaukee.  On November 1, 1969, she was united in marriage to Larry Bartel.  The couple enjoyed 54 years together until Larry's passing in 2023.

During her working years, Beverly worked at Rainbow Supper Club, American Can, Hillshire Farm, and Curwood Inc.  She was a member at Emanuel Lutheran Church in New London.

As a beautiful person inside and out, she had the ability to spread beauty in gardens, paintings, and best of all in relationships.

She is survived by her brothers and sisters:  Linda Roy, Richard Procknow, Patricia Sanderfoot, Dennis Procknow, and Glenn Procknow.  She will be dearly missed by many.

Per Beverly's wishes, no service will be held.

May her spirited spunk be forever remembered.
