Barbara (Running) Kranzusch, a resident of Appleton, was born September 9, 1936. After a brief illness, she passed away Monday, March 4, 2024. Barb was preceded in death in August of 2022 by her husband of 60 years, Jim Kranzusch. She looked forward to being reunited with him in everlasting life.

Her much-loved children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were her greatest joy. They include her sons, Gary (Gena) Kranzusch, Gregg (Corrie) Kranzusch, and daughter, Cathy (Pat) Schwanke, and her grandchildren, Jeremy Kranzusch, Amanda Kranzusch, Nick Kranzusch, Larissa (Mike) Grunwald, Sam (Alex Capper) Kranzusch, Kyle Kranzusch, Emily (Ross) Thomas, Maggie (Alex) Velicer, and Mike Schwanke. G. G. Barb will be dearly missed by her great-grandchildren, Eli, Gemma, Owen, Vanna, Wesley, Angel, Adrian, August, Abe, Luke, Norah, and Lainey.

Barb looked after and cared for others nearly her whole life. Her family is grateful for the caregivers and medical personnel who touched Barb's life with compassion and grace, especially her "angel on earth," Janina Noel. In keeping with her wishes, Barb's family will have a private celebration of her life. They appreciate the many thoughts and prayers extended by family and friends. As a library paraprofessional in the Menasha public schools, Barb often sought out children who needed tender loving care. To honor her spirit, a memorial fund will be established to benefit children in the community.
