Audrey Ann Bazile, age 88, of Appleton, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Monday, October 26, 2026, at St. Elizabeth Hospital following a short illness.

Audrey was born on January 1, 1938, to the late Lester and Mary (Sexton) Krueger. Earlier in her career she worked as an administrative assistant in the accounting department at Kimberly Clark, then left that profession to raise her four children. She went back to work at Grant Thornton until her retirement. Audrey was a Cub Scout Leader, she loved bowling and visiting casinos with her sister – but most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She will be missed by her four children: Terri (Richard) Nilson, Appleton, Brian (Vicki) Bazile, Freedom, Tammi (William) De Decker, Novi, MI, and Bob (Lisa Pegel) Bazile, Hortonville; loving grandmother to Michael (Kasey), Cara, Aric, Tyler (Kelly), Travis, Brody, and Bree; great grandson Arlo and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by parents Lester and Mary, sister Barb, and two brothers, Larry and Jeff.

A Memorial service for Audrey will take place at 4 pm on Friday, October 30, 2026, at Brettschneider Trettin-Nickel Funeral Chapel. Friends may visit at the funeral chapel from 2 pm to 3:45 pm. Interment will take place at St. Mary Cemetery, Appleton.
